Our game 'Cat Caravans' is a Kingdom-inspired Base-Builder / Tower-Defense game set in fantasy medieval setting.

Disclaimer: 

Our Game is still in development, which means there may be bugs and ready assets as we keep drawing our original art. Also, we still have many design choices to make! Turns out, making a game, and game design is hard, and we are punching way above our height here. so we are kind of stuck on how the make the game "come together". This is reason we are uploading our game here in its "Early Access" state.

Lore:

The city-sized fortress known as the Kitadel has sheltered generations of catken—cats that walk on two legs—within its labyrinthine expanse. At the heart of the Kitadel is the ancient meowood tree, the source of the mystical aura that protects catken from all who wish them harm. Some consider the Kitadel to be a utopia. Only a handful of catken (known as “strays”) explore outside of its walls. Most catken are content to bask in the sunshine and follow the decrees of their stuffy elder, the Great Tom. Whispers of darkness spreading through the Old Forest outside of their walls are met with general indifference…

…until the darkness takes hold from within. The all-consuming fungal entity Lacrymelle turns the magic of the meowood inside out by infecting its roots! The Kitadel falls, and caravans of refugees take flight in a panic. Each caravan carries a meowood sapling in hope that maybe a new home can be established. But catken are soft after generations of cozy indoor life. The world is treacherous, and creepy creatures under the control of Lacrymelle (“lackies”) stalk the Old Forest. Their only hope is to plant a meowood sapling and defend it from lackies until the aura grows strong enough. But can a bunch of weak little cats hold out that long? This is either the end of the catken or a glorious new beginning.
